[May 15, 2024] Neowiz (Co-CEOs Seung-Chul Kim and Tae-Geun Bae) announced a festive update for the first anniversary of 'Merge Survival: Wasteland,' developed by its subsidiary, Sticky Hands (CEO Minwoo Kim).

To celebrate, 'Merge Survival,' a casual game that mixes puzzles with storytelling, will treat players who log in from May 15th to May 31st to a 'First Anniversary Reward' and 'MW's Letter.' Additionally, the celebration includes a 'Commemorative Coin Event' to collect special balloons.

Minwoo Kim, CEO of Sticky Hands, addresses fans in a special video. The 'First Anniversary Q&A Interview' will go live on Merge Survival's YouTube channel on the 15th at 11 AM. It will respond to user questions and provide insights into the game’s world and story. Topics include the 1st Anniversary update, the game development process, and the direction of the game services for the latter half of this year.

The celebration also brings content updates. The story for Chapter 24 of 'Merge Survival' will be revealed on the 15th. It captures a fascinating storyline featuring new characters 'Yuna' and 'Isabella' who join Eden’s journey of survival. The update adds the May Stray Cat Pass skin, 'Stray Cat, the Life of the Party' and cat house skin '1-Year Anniversary Celebration Cake'.

This May, players can earn rewards based on their login days. Merging point blocks to collect confetti and complete a piñata will unlock chances to win items and limited-time objects. On the 15th for one day, players can enjoy a 50% discount on 'Inventory', 'Gems', and 'Coins'.

From the 15th to the 22nd, Merge Survival will host a 1st-anniversary comment event on its official social media channels. Rewards will be given to all players once the target number of comments is reached. Also, from the 15th to the 31st, there will be an event for the new 'Invite' feature. Players who submit proof of invitations will receive individual rewards.

Meanwhile, the mobile game 'Merge Survival,' developed by Sticky Hands, was launched globally last May. Set in a dystopian world ravaged by severe environmental destruction, it follows the story of Eden, a survivor building a utopia. The game enhances its narrative with solid, engaging stories for each quest and introduces puzzle elements that require merging items to complete missions. <End>
